High School Leadership Institute
Bring your students to CNU for a day of leadership in action.
The President’s Leadership Program invites high school educators to give their students a dynamic, full-day leadership experience on campus. The High School Leadership Institute is designed to inspire, challenge, and empower students through interactive programming that builds confidence, strengthens skills, and introduces them to leadership in a meaningful way.
During their visit, students will:
- Participate in team-building activities that strengthen collaboration and communication
- Engage in workshops led by PLP students and staff focused on leader development
- Connect with current CNU students during lunch panels about college life and the application process
- Explore sessions centered on self-discovery, service, and purpose
- Experience programming tailored to your group’s goals
Students leave with practical leadership skills, greater self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of how they can make an impact in their schools and communities, all while experiencing life at Christopher Newport.
